Director Andy Pauley has been named as interim CEO. Pauley, a Frontier board member for three years, will work with the board and senior management on a transitional plan. Pauley says the company will continue its commitment to the recently launched Simply Organic Brand packaged seasonings mix and packaged meals into the Natural Foods and Grocery markets.

The essential historical businesses of Frontier Natural Products Cooperative, which include bulk herb and spice interests, a distribution division for natural products, and the aromatherapy company Aura Cacia, will continue to be a vital part of the company’s core business.

“While we are certainly challenged in the short-term by the departure of Steve and value his extraordinary accomplishments during his tenure as CEO, we’re confident that Frontier will continue in the tradition of product innovation and quality as well as sustainable business practices,” says Pauley.
