Attorney General Mike Fisher returns to the courts today [Thursday] to try to force the trust board to sign a legally binding commitment not to sell its stake in Hershey Foods. Fisher filed a brief last week to this effect, and a hearing has been scheduled for today.

The trust has submitted a motion to dismiss all court filings relating to the cancelled sale, but Fisher has asked the Dauphin County Orphans Court to reject this motion. He said he would only support a dismissal if the court approved his request that any sale of the company would be contingent upon prior notice to the attorney general and court approval, reported the Harrisburg Patriot.
