Given the tragedy and disruption of yesterday’s national events, General Mills will postpone the release of its first-quarter 2002 financial results along with the investor webcast and conference call that had been planned for Wed., Sept. 12, 2001. The company will issue a subsequent release to report the new date and time for its first-quarter announcement as soon as possible. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Steve Sanger said, “We recognize that for many of our shareholders and friends in the investment community, business as usual is far from top of mind right now.”
