Deromedi had shared the role of chief executive with Holden, but this decision ends the company’s often-criticised joint leadership structure, reported Reuters.
Holden, considered one of the most powerful women in US business, is to take up an unspecified global leadership role within the company, and will remain on Kraft’s board.
