US doughnut chain Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has said that it has been served with a lawsuit against it by Richard Reinis and Roger Glickman, two principals of Great Circle Family Foods.
The company described Great Circle Family Foods as its financially troubled Southern California franchisee. The lawsuit was filed on 29 September in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Krispy Kreme did not say what the suit regarded but said the company intends to “vigorously defend against the lawsuit”.
