A new mobile ordering service has been launched at three of the company’s Seattle restaurants. The so-called McQuick technology allows mobile phone users to dial in a food order, pay from a pre-deposited Bank account and then pick it up from a designated parking spot. The service costs an extra US$0.15 per order.


Coffee shop chain Starbucks has introduced a similar mobile ordering service for the cost of US$0.25 per order at eleven of its coffee shops in the same Seattle area.
