“We recently sent the first shipment of our pet food, brandname Mimados, to Mexico, with our focused goal of expanding our reach to this highly attractive market of 100 million people.
“This is consistent with our theme of creating items that would be readily welcomed by the international markets,” said Hersel Orozco, sales and marketing senior VP of Pipasa and As de Oros.
Nestor Solis, Rica’s CFO, concluded: “This is just a dress rehearsal, but our aim is to carve into a segment that enhances our product stream with items that could put on the shelf our brand names.”
