The Michigan Restaurant Association (MRA) has named Tony Matar and Charles “Chick” Taylor, both of Southfield, and Bill Wentworth Jr, of Flint, to its statewide Board of Directors.


Matar is a Big Boy Restaurant franchisee and president of Matar Hospitality. He also owns Fatoosh Restaurants in Novi and Rochester.


Taylor worked his way up from a night host at Joe Muer’s Seafood Restaurant and now owns Joe Muer’s Grill in Southfield. Taylor has been a member of the MRA since 1998.


Wentworth started in the restaurant industry in 1993 and is now an Applebee’s franchisee with twelve locations throughout Michigan.
