Penn Traffic, which said last week it was considering filing for bankruptcy, said Fox’s resignation was for personal reasons and was not due to the company’s current financial difficulties.
Fox, who joined Penn Traffic in 1988, was named chief financial officer in November 1999, reported the Associated Press.
