US frozen meat products manufacturer Quaker Maid Meats has announced that work has started on the construction of a new processing facility at the company’s headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania.
The 40,000 square foot processing facility will be used for processing and freezing and will open in June 2005.
“The new processing facility will help Quaker Maid Meats effectively respond to increased growth,” said company president Sergei Szortyka.
