Hasker was most recently president of the company’s Phoenix division. In her new capacity she will be responsible for Safeway’s marketing and merchandising activities including category management, procurement, pricing, and promotions. The company will also be conducting a search for an executive vice president level position overseeing marketing, merchandising, brand management, and manufacturing.
