“After thoroughly evaluating the alternatives and observing the effectiveness of the SAP implementation at Keebler, we have chosen SAP to provide the operating platform for our combined Kellogg and Keebler businesses,” said Rajan Nagarajan, vice president and chief information officer for Kellogg Company. “We believe that will position us extremely well in the strategic integration of our North American business.”

Kellogg Company’s selection of SAP follows the completion in March of its acquisition of the Keebler Foods Company. A user of a variety of mySAP.com solutions, Keebler recently implemented and went live with mySAP E-Procurement in less than six weeks.

“We welcome the opportunity to leverage the SAP platform’s capabilities for Kellogg’s North American business in the exchange and delivery of timely, relevant and accurate information,” said Ray Shei, senior vice president and chief information officer of Kellogg USA.

“SAP provides the solutions and services that companies need to sucessfully participate in the global marketplace, and we are thrilled that the Kellogg Company has chosen SAP to provide the technology infrastructure to power its integration with Keebler,” said Wolfgang Kemna, chief executive officer, SAP America, Inc. “We look forward to a long and continuing partnership with Kellogg Company by building on our successes at Keebler.”
