US coffee shop chain Starbucks has named Tony George as senior vice president of partner resources for its international unit, Starbucks Coffee International.

George plans to complete his immersion with Starbucks’ UK unit this summer and assume his new role in the autumn, the company said. He will report to Martin Coles, president of Starbucks Coffee International.


In his previous role, George served as senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Burger King International.
