Seattle-based coffeehouse giant Starbucks Corporation has reported consolidated net revenues of US$261m for the four-week period ended 28 July 2002, an increase of 26% from US$207m for the same period in fiscal 2001.
On a comparable store sales basis (stores open for at least 13 months), sales at company-operated stores increased 7% for the four weeks ended 28 July 2002 as compared to the same four-week period in fiscal 2001.
For the year to date period, consolidated net revenues were US$2.7bn, an increase of 24% from US$2.2bn for the same period in fiscal 2001. Comparable store sales also increased 6% for the year to date 2002, as compared to the same period in FY 2001.
