The New York-based Globe Restaurant Group, parent of the Goodfella’s Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta concept, has recently completed two area development agreements.
The first agreement is with Franchise Acquisitions Group Corp. for the development for ten stores in New York, Northern New Jersey and Connecticut.
The second development agreement is with RG Operating Company, which calls for ten locations to be developed in Southern Jersey, Philadelphia, PA and Northern Delaware. Their first unit is a 6800 sq ft free-standing building which set to open 1 July 2002 in Burlington, NJ.
“We are pleased to have two experienced operators in the Goodfella’s system,” commented E. Jay Myers, president of Globe. “The addition of these two development agreements will assist Goodfella’s attaining their goal of becoming the leader in the upscale, casual Italian food segment in the Northeast.”
