Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. reported net sales for the four-week period ending March 2, 2001, of $14.885 billion, an increase of 11.8 percent over the $13.316 billion in the similar period in the prior year.


SAM’S CLUB sales for the four-week period were $1.991 billion, up 8.3 percent over sales of $1.838 billion in the similar prior-year period.
