There will be more than 50 Wingstop Restaurants by the end of this month, said Jim Deering, president of the fast-growing chicken wing chain.
The chain was founded by restauranteur Antonio Swad in 1994, and there are currently 47 Wingstop restaurants in operation. Another four are due to open by the end of this month.
In addition, more than 60 stores are currently under development.
Deering insisted however, that the Dallas-based company has set its sights even further afield: “We plan to continue company growth until we reach a national presence.
“At the current rate, it should not take more than a few years.”
