The Creston factory has approximately 150 employees who will transfer with the business, it said. The two companies will work on transitioning the business, including customer notification, over the coming weeks, with an expectation that the transaction will close by mid-December.

“Our intent to divest Trolli was announced when we closed on the acquisition of several confectionery brands from Kraft Foods in June. This move is part of the integration of that acquisition and the related realignment of Wrigley’s North American supply chain, which are progressing according to plan,” said Peter Hempstead, senior vice president – worldwide strategy and new business.
