The strategic partnership will allow efoodmanager’s customers to integrate their logistical processing into the Private Company Marketplaces of efoodmanager, thus enabling the end-to-end handling of the transaction process in a rapid and secure manner.

The alliance will enhance the B2B applications of efoodmanager by providing a logistic interface that enables the customer to manage the complete value-added chain from order to delivery. The agreement will promote the corporate implementation of logistic solutions for the Private Company Marketplaces, efoodmanager’s marketplace and also generate joint marketing and sales activities.
Efoodmanager’s e-commerce solutions will be enhanced by a number of essential logistic aspects. Customers can choose and assign a carrier by agreement or auction and can trace and track progress of the entire transport and billing process, all online. Additionally, modules for profile management and for the administration of and bidding for long-term contracts will be incorporated, together with opportunities for joint information and collaboration between individual supply-chain participants.
Both partners – efoodmanager and Escate – can develop and implement individual solutions for the large number of companies that are currently restructuring their networks and business relations systems in order to increase efficiency. Implementation of the entire programme will lead to lower transaction costs and improved planning reliability for the trading partners involved. Business transactions will be accelerated and network inventories reduced.
