According to Vietnamese reports, Planning and Investment Service of northern Ha Nam province has granted Dutch Lady Vietnam a license to begin its US$40m plan to expand production in the region.

Dutch Lady Vietnam is a joint venture between Friesland Foods of the Netherlands, and Protrade of southern Binh Duong province. The dairy company produces various brands, including Dutch Lady, Yomost, Completa and Friso.
According to a report by Vietnam News Brief Service, the company will initially invest $20m into constructing a six-hectare milk factory in the provincial township of Phu Ly.
