Vietnam exported US$1.67bn worth of seafood in the first ten months of 2002, an increase of 10.7% compared to the same period last year. Vietnam has set a target of $2bn in earnings from the export of seafood in 2002, with an aim of increasing that to $2.3bn next year, reported the Vietnam Economic News.
