Walkers Shortbread wants to cash in on growing demand for gluten-free products in the UK and is launching a line of gluten-free shortbread.
The line-up consists of gluten-free pure butter shortbread, chocolate chip shortbread and ginger and lemon shortbread. The range will be produced using a specialist flour blend and has received the certified accreditation from Coeliac UK, the company said.

Walkers’ gluten-free offering, which is also suitable for vegetarians and certified Kosher OUD, launches at the end of the month with an RRP GBP2.50 (US$4).
