Wells Enterprises and Impact Confections are working together to launch Bomb Pop Warheads, a "sour frozen treat".

Wells – which owns frozen ice pop brand Bomb Pop – and Impact – which owns the Warheads sour confectionery brand – said the new line would be available throughout the US this month. The range consists of three flavours: black cherry, green apple and blue raspberry.

"Sour is a really hot trend right now, especially among tweens," said Chad Stelter, brand manager for Bomb Pop. "We're excited to be working with a brand that resonates so well with our consumers. We're confident that when our consumers hear the word Warheads, they'll instantly know the electrifying level of sourness they will get from enjoying these three new flavours wrapped up in one ice pop."
