WhiteWave Foods has set up the position of chief operating officer as part of a handful of changes among the US food and beverage group’s senior management.
Blaine McPeak, the president of WhiteWave’s foods and beverages business in the Americas, will be promoted to the role on 1 December.
Kevin Yost, the president of WhiteWave’s fresh foods arm, will move to be the Silk owner’s US group president for foods and beverages. He will report to McPeak, who will continue to run the division’s international business.
Gregg Engles, who will stay as WhiteWave’s chairman and CEO, said: “Having Blaine and Kevin in these new roles will allow me to focus my time on future growth strategies and other value-creating opportunities.”
Meanwhile, CFO Kelly Haecker is to leave WhiteWave at the end of March to spend more time with his family. Greg Christenson, the CFO for the foods and beverages unit, will become group CFO.
