Irish retailer Superquinn calls in receivers
The sale of Irish retailer Superquinn is in doubt after two of the company's directors went to court to block the business from being put into receivership.
Ireland-based retailer Musgrave has struck a deal to buy Superquinn after its troubled local rival was put into receivership amid high debts.
Superquinn has confirmed reports that it is not looking to sell the business but is instead focused on implementing its recently approved business plan.
The owners of Irish retailer Superquinn have approached a number of rival retailers and finance houses to ask if they would be interested in taking over the chain, according to reports.
