Baby food business Bubs Australia has appointed board director Dennis Lin as its new chairman.
Lin succeeds Alan van Noort, who left Bubs Australia after it was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange earlier this year.
A partner at business advisory firm BDO, Lin joined the Bubs Australia board in January. At BDO, Lin works on commercial transactions and M&A between Chinese and Australian businesses.
Kristy Carr, Bubs Australia’s founder and executive director, said: “Dennis has been a tremendous asset to the business since joining our board and played an integral role in developing both our expansion plans and route-to-market strategy for China. The board is confident that Dennis’s experience is uniquely relevant to our business as we seek to leverage our strong domestic position and enter the fast-growing, mother-and-baby segment in China and south-east Asia.”
Bubs Australia’s CEO is Nicholas Sims, who was promoted from the role of commercial director in June.
