Australian olives and derived products are in the ascendancy, and this week the country’s first exports shipment of olives left Australia’s shores.
Fifty tonnes of kalamata olives were sent to Kalamata in Greece, where harvests have been compromised by severe late frosts.
The olives were sold by Virginia Olives Kalamata Estate.
