US beverages and snacks giant PepsiCo has named Mary Dillon president of its Quaker Foods business unit.

The appointment follows Polly Kawalek’s decision to retire from the post. Effective immediately, Dillon will report to PepsiCo Beverages & Food (PBF) chairman and CEO Gary Rodkin.
Dillon previously served as Quaker Foods’ vice president of marketing, overseeing brand development, innovation, channel strategy and consumer insights. She has worked with Quaker for nearly 17 years, leaving in 1996 for four-year hiatus to run marketing for Gardenburger, and returning to Quaker in 2000.
