Salim has been acting CEO since October, when Eva resigned after an alleged rift between her and the Salim family, which controls Indofood through Hong Kong’s First Pacific, reported Dow Jones News.
Indofood, whose core product is instant noodles, also increased the number of members of its board of directors to ten from eight.
