ADM Cocoa, a unit of US agribusiness giant Archer Daniels Midland, has appointed Kevin Powell as technical and food safety manager at its UK production plant in Hull.

“This newly created role demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to providing customers with technical expertise in food technology, safety and quality at all stages of the production process,” the company said.
Powell, who has worked for ADM since 1987, will continue to maintain close links between the technical and production departments, as undertaken in his previous position as technical sales manager, ADM said.
