Nestlé Chilled Dairy, a UK unit of Swiss food giant Nestlé, is to spend £10m (US$15.8m) on the UK launch of its first fat-free yoghurt, Nestlé Sveltesse.
The marketing campaign is to focus on telling the consumer that fat-free does not necessarily mean taste-free or pleasure-free.
Nestlé already sells the brand in Belgium, France, Portugal and Spain, and will launch the product in UK supermarkets next week.
The Sveltesse range includes real fruit yoghurts as well as yoghurts inspired by desserts such as lemon cheesecake and peach melba, reported Marketing.
