Smith has served as COO for the past seven years. He will continue to work with Del Monte in an advisory capacity.


Meanwhile, Todd Lachman, managing director of pet products, has been named executive vice president, Del Monte Foods, and Nils Lommerin, executive vice president, human resources, has been named executive vice president, operations. Both will report to Rick Wolford, chairman, president and CEO.
