Official documents drawn up by the EU Council of Ministers committee of permanent officials (Coreper) show that the Netherlands wants a deal on this legislation at 6-7 December’s health council.


It also wants ministers to strike a political agreement on a proposed directive on the addition of vitamins and minerals to food. A detailed debate on the recent sugar reform proposals is scheduled for the agriculture council on 22-23 November.
