Food manufacturers in Europe and Asia-Pacific grew their share of efforts to hire for robotics-related jobs in the three months ending May.

The number of roles in Europe made up 24.8% of total robotics jobs – up from 22.2% in the same quarter last year.

That was followed by Asia-Pacific, which saw a 2.5 year-on-year percentage point change in robotics roles.

In Europe, the country that accounted for the greatest activity was France.

The top country for robotics roles in the food industry is the US, which saw 62.1% of all roles advertised in the three months ending May.

Some 6.1% of all food industry robotics roles were advertised in Sheboygan (United States) in the three months ending May.

That was followed by Franklin (United States) with 5.1%, Madrid (Spain) with 2.6%, and Jeffersonville (United States) with 2.4%.
