Ukraine’s largest poultry producer, Mironovsky Khleboprodukt, is carrying out a modernization programme at a cost of US$570m to triple its poultry output to 350,000 tonnes a year by 2009, the group announced today (Friday), according to the Dow Jones news agency.
Mironovsky Khleboprodukt accounts for nearly 50% of Ukraine’s total poultry production.
In January-September the group increased its poultry output by 30% on the year to 100,000 tonnes.
