Dutch flavourings company Quest has appointed Harry Scholten to the newly-created post of vice president global sales and account management. The appointment took effect at the beginning of November.

Scholten will join the senior leadership team, with responsibility for sales and customer management and service. He will report to group vice president for flavours Cees de Jong.


“I am delighted that Harry will join us,” de Jong said. “His expertise is a very important asset to our team and will help us to fully leverage the strong technology position of our business.”


Scholten, 50, was previously president of Flavours EMEA, where he led the 450-strong commercial team as well as overseeing and supporting flavour creation and application expertise, regulatory activity and customer service.
