Portuguese food producer Manuel Inacio & Filhos has acquired the Sapropor pork unit of US food company ConAgra Foods for an undisclosed sum.

Sapropor produces and markets fresh and processed pork products under brands including Damatta and Izidoro. The unit has annual sales of around €30m (US$34.5m), reported Reuters.
Manuel Inacio & Filhos is Portugal’s biggest pork processor and had sales of €121.5m last year.
