The US frozen food specialist National Harvest has been acquired by an affiliate of Creo Capital Partners for an undisclosed sum.
Creo said the deal was expected to result in increased sales activity, enhanced customer support, and other synergies between National Harvest and Creo’s other food businesses.
The acquisition of National Harvest, which produces branded frozen food products under the Bakers Express and National Harvest brands, marks Creo’s third investment in the branded frozen food market. The company said that it was actively looking for further acquisitions in the food and beverage sector.
“Creo has strong expertise in the branded food space and we believe that National Harvest is a great addition to our portfolio,” said Creo partner Nick Sternberg. “We are excited about National Harvest’s strong relationships with its existing customers and high quality products, and we look forward to introducing the brand to the distribution channels that we have developed through our other food company investments. We also continue to be focused on further investments in the food and beverage space.”
