Denmark-based dairy giant Arla Foods has said group director Peder Tuborgh was named as the new managing director of Arla at a meeting in Copenhagen this week.

Tuborgh joined MD Foods at the age of 24 when he was appointed product manager for MD Foods’ German subsidiary. MD Foods merged with Arla in 2000 to form Arla Foods.
Since 2002, Tuborgh has been a member of Arla Foods’ group management with responsibility for the Nordic area and the Denmark Division.
The search for a new managing director began in late April, when Åke Modig announced his resignation.
