Total sales were €1.548bn (US$ 1.8929bn), compared with €1.496bn in 2003-2004. Net profit rose to €35.7m from €33.0m last year.
The company’s poultry activities showed a rise in sales of 2.5% to €1.249m
The company also announced the acquisition of food group Agis, the French market leader in ethnic products and number four in ready meals. The move will create big industrial and commercial synergies, LDC said.
