“I apologise to all those who have suffered or been damaged in ….(my) attempt to fulfil a project and an industrial dream,” Tanzi was quoted by Reuters as saying after a five-hour interrogation.


Tanzi also promised to name names, saying it was his duty to “collaborate fully with prosecutors to reconstruct … the causes of Parmalat’s sudden default (and) who is responsible”.


Tanzi is due to be questioned again by prosecutors in Parma on 22 January, reported Reuters.
