Cadbury Schweppes announced on Friday (7 April) that it intends to sell its Monkhill business that primarily manufactures sugar confectionary and popcorn for the UK market.
In 2005, Monkhill’s revenue was approximately GBP80m.
The sale will include four UK manufacturing plants and one distribution depot. Cadbury Schweppes said that it expects to complete the sale by the end of 2006.
