Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc today announced that it has received a three-month extension for continued listing and trading on the New York Stock Exchange through April 30, 2006. This extension is subject to reassessment by the NYSE on an ongoing basis.

Krispy Kreme said last week that it was attempting to extend the deadline it had for filing its financial results with the New York Stock Exchange. The company had been threatened with a delisting of its stock.

In a statement Krispy Kreme said it expects to complete and file, within the new time period, its Annual Report for its fiscal year ended January 30, 2005 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. If the Company does not make this filing by April 30, 2006, the NYSE will initiate suspension and delisting procedures.
