Preilu Siers, the largest producer of cheddar cheese in the Baltics, was delisted from the Riga Stock Exchange on Friday, the Riga bourse reported.

Preilu Siers shareholders had decided to delist the company in November, announcing a mandatory shareholder buy-out. This has now been completed and the company has met the requirements to delist.


Jazeps Snepsts, the company’s largest share holder, explained that the decision was made because no deal involving the company’s stock had yet been concluded on the exchange.
