According to the company’s 2005 annual results, delivered to the Australian Securities Exchange, revenue rose by 30% to AUS$46.6m.

Buderim’s chairman John Ruscoe said that profits would have been higher were it not for problems with the integration of the company’s bakery sector and on-off redevelopment costs in the tourism business.

“We believe the combined business is well positioned to fully benefit from Buderim Ginger’s strong retail relationships and distribution channels to generate 2006 profit levels more in line with our original projections,” he said.
