Japanese food importer and retailer Sojitz Foods Corp will acquire Japanese seafood processor and retailer NS Suisan Shokuhin for an undisclosed sum.
According to a report in the Japanese News Digest, Sojitz Foods intends to launch a wholly-owned subsidiary named Sojits Shokuryo Suisan. The new unit will take on the operations and employees of NS Suisan Shokuhin.
