Famous Dave’s of America (NASDAQ:DAVE) opened its sixth restaurant in the Chicagoland area Monday, August 21, 2000 in North Riverside, Illinois. This opening is Illinois’ first introduction of Famous Dave’s shack-style restaurant. The shack concept offers the same award-winning food and service that Chicagoans have come to expect, in an atmosphere that features nostalgically themed rooms.
