UK egg supplier Noble Foods has introduced a food-to-go brand called Kudos, marking its latest move into “value-added” products.

The new range went on sale in Sainsbury’s on 1 September with two products aimed at shoppers seeking snacks as part of meal deals.

The initial line-up features Feta & Tomato Egg Bites, stocked in 410 stores, and Shakshuka Saucy Egg Pots, available in 423 outlets.

According to Noble Foods, the range has been developed in response to rising demand for “nutritious, convenient and great-tasting snacks”.

The company said egg-based products are still “relatively under-represented within modern food-to-go fixtures”.

Noble Foods said research carried out over the 18-month development period for Kudos pointed to a “clear opportunity for innovation within egg-based snacking”.

The group described the launch as another “major milestone” in its ongoing investment in value-added foods, driven through its Leicester-based innovation site, where capacity has doubled since 2025.

Planned additions to the range include Ham Hock and Jalapeño Chilli Egg Bites, as well as Mexican Bean and Chickpea Masala Saucy Egg Pots.

James Howes, the category and brand marketing manager at Noble Foods, said: “Through Kudos, we’ve brought together free-range British eggs and bold flavours in products that offer rewarding nutrition and fit easily into busy lifestyles.”

Noble Foods is known for supplying fresh traditional shell eggs. Its brand portfolio includes the Happy Egg Co., Purely Organic, Big & Fresh, Freshlay Golden Yolk and Heritage Breeds.

The launch of Kudos follows the company’s acquisition of fellow UK business Just Egg last year as part of a strategy to expand its “added-value” range.
