Indofood Sukses Makmur, the world’s largest instant noodle maker, has said that its chief executive, Eva Riyanti Hutapea, has tendered her resignation.

Indofood said the resignation would come into effect in May 2004 at the company’s next annual general meeting.


“It is anticipated that the board of commissioners will recommend a replacement for Hutapea as president director to shareholders prior to the next annual general meeting,” the company was quoted by Reuters as saying.  


Hutapea has been CEO of Indofood since 1996.
