GREECE: Delta buys out 10% of Bakery chain Venetis
Domestic dairy group Delta has bought up 10% of bakery and confectionary chain Venetis . During 2000, Venetis recorded a turnover of nearly €14.7m and a profit of €1.8m. The advantages of the Venetis retail chain, which spreads throughout Greece, are apparent for the dairy group, which has expressed interest in increasing its stake further.
